steroids and becoming a cop??????

I've read up on the requirements it takes to become a cop. I'm just wondering, is it possible to still become a cop even if you have injected steroids before?? It says on the list that if you have ever injected any drug, steroids included, that you can never become a cop. Is there any cops on here that know if that is true or not. I'm not sayin i ever did inject, just wondering!! lol

Don't tell them anything that you have done. If its not on your record they can't prove it, unless one of your dumbass friends says something during your background check.

yeah you can become a cop. Departments all have standards that you have to meet. For most of the Midwest states there are no lie detector tests, however the south uses them still. For Milwuakee you cannot have used illegal substances within the past 5 years. Same with Phoenix but steroid use in phoenix you have to wait 7 years before you can re-apply. Yes you can beat a lie detector test but why try? If you fail it and they find out you are lying you pretty much screwed the pooch on trying to become a cop. IF there are no lie detector tests then my advice would be to lie and tell them youve never used. easy as that. If there are lie detector tests then dont apply unless you want to not be hirable for another 7 years....(this is in phoenix, other cities rules are different.)

i know around here they use a lie detecter on you when you go in on the interview...yeah there not 100% accurate and there are ways around it but why risk it. if they do catch you in a lie its gonna make them wonder if they should hire you... but then again all the cops lie ....lets us know how it goes

Lie detectors are based on the person giving it, never ever change your story. If you are totally lying and the guy giving the test assumes that you are and your story does not change he can only say that it is inconclusive. The department does not have to hire you but it will not give you a black mark on your record.

yea, that state that i'm talkin abt does give lie detector tests. It says in the qualifications that you have to wait like 6 years to apply since you have taken an oral steroid, but if you ever injected any drug, anabolic steroids included, you need not apply. So, idk...if the midwestern states don't give a lie detector, maybe that would be the way to go...

There is a former member here who is now a cop and he did a cycle about 2 years ago. Hell, I helped him with the cycle. It was an injectable cycle. I'm not sure if he had a lie detector test or not. He still cycles now. He does GH, IGF and orals.

i've seached and searched and most places make u take a polygraph...whether u want to be a city officer or a state trooper...idk...i don't want to completely change my education around and then find out i couldn't be a trooper if i injected steroids at one time..i'm not sayin i have, just if i did...lol....

Im from canada and trying to become a mountie and they make you take a polygraph test and one of the questions is have you ever used steroids and how many times and the date of start and finsh and aswell they ask you if you have ever sold steroids. im not to sure on their policies on how long you have to be clean for or if you will get terminated from the application process

Thats funny, there is a motorcycle cop at my gym and I swear he is dressing for a swat raid when he works out. He has on his motorcyle boots and pants, and he is a real fat lard.

lol..every motorcycle cop I see around my house has these tiny chicken legs and huge guts. I dont see why more ppl dont just keep on driving if they tried to get pulled over. Those fing Harley cop bikes are slower than a lawnmower.
