Red face Soy Milk & Protein

First let me say did searches couldnt find much probably looked in wrong places, oh well you get that. Anyways Ihave lactose issues with milk and whey nothing major just fill all orifices with snot if too much get a cold. Have been told soy protein is crap and soy milk promotes estro production making men fat and cry babies. Need to know if these are true and if so are there alternatives. Hoping I havent done the dumb newbie thing, thanks.

I've heard the same thing about soy but I still drink it everyday. I have recently come off of a 12 cycle and have been dealing with elevated estrogen issues. I have been taking arimidex ed and it seems to help a lot! But like I said, I am not sure if it is from soy milk or some type of estrogen rebound from a previous cycle. I have about one month supply of arimidex on hand so I will see how I feel when I come off of it then, by then if my estrogen levels are still high, I am going to stop drinking soy milk!!!

I have only done one other cycle and that was last year. But no I don't remember having these estrogen problems and I was NOT drinking soy milk at the time so that is why I think it may be true.

As far as soy protein, I have never tried it. I have read that whey protein is so much better for you, plus since I already drink soy milk that could be a disaster mixing the two!

I dont really see a big benefit in switching from bovine to beans! all the nutrition facts are about the same... and as for the estro I think I have enough.. The only thing I can think is dairy is really hard for are body to brake down...

Soy is fine. There is not enough estrogen production to do squat. Anyway, you do need estrogen to build lbm. Its certaintly not going to give you tits or anything.
