    Need Help!!!!

    Hello Everybody,

I'm currently 5' 10" and weigh-in at 289. I want to take a cycle to help cut down bodyfat and tone muscle. What cycle should I buy?

I have began my workout 3 weeks ago. I feel great! I have been sitting on my ass for about 2 years. I've register to compete in a Sprint Triathlon. I have made great improvements in my swim and bike in just 3 short weeks. My first week swimming I could barely do 25 meters! I'm at the beginning of my 4th week and I can swim 100 meters without stopping. My cycling has improved a lot also! Just need to conquer the run.

Can anybody give me a suggestions to help me get down to around 200 to 210 lbs.

    RP

Keep doing what you are doing. AAS is the icing on the cake. Keep reading and working out and dont cheat on the diet part, and that will get you farther than the aas. Good luck with your tri. I did tri's when I lived in st.petersburg florida and had a few sponsors to help with costs.

Hard work and dedication to the diet. The cycling is a good low-impact cardio to start off with. Try to find a decent sized pool and do laps, that one of the best low-impact exercises in my opinion. It's hard to lose weight but it's possible with dedication

Wow!! I will try my best to stay on track. I have in 3 weeks, had about 5 cheat meals. I think that's pretty good for going cold turkey on the late night eating and fast food.

I will definitly be conversing with you on the Tri's. How was your first Tri?

My first Tri will be on March 29 in Galveston Texas. I feel that I can possibly be ready by Christmas at the rate I'm going. Then I will focus more on conditioning and speed for 2008.

Have you ever been to www.Beginnertriathlete.com? They have some great programs! I'm doing the program from the couch to the Sprint.

I'm sorry u might read this twice. Getting familiar with the Forum.

I haven't swamed in 7 years. I have been using muscles I didn't know still exists! I work out in a 25 meter pool. Thanks on the feedback!

Swimming is a pretty intense workout if you do moderately-to-fast paced laps. Helps you pace your breathing also

First tri I did I got beat by a 17yr old kid. Some call him Lance Armstrong.(wimp). All I wanted to do was finish. Thats the best advise to you. Finish anyway you can. Swim on your back, front, breat-stroke anything to get out of the water. pace yourself on the bike and drink lots of water. practice a walk-run style to finish.

Enjoy the site, its the best out there. Go to the diet forum and take a peek, its worth it.

I don't think that's your answer right now. None are really great at helping you burn fat....not like a good diet and exercise can do. look into that in a year or two

Dammit man!! That's okay the 17 y/o beat u. The point that u finish your first tri is astounding! Congrats. Hopefully I can finish my first one like u did.

I read some articles, and they say, that the other swimmers will do what ever it takes to pass u, slap u, pull u, etc...

thats true but mostly in the front packs....I never had the problem....I stayed a pack just behind the pros....our pack was about 20-30 guys. Stay to the sides or back and wait and let them go out ahead of you. Worry about your guidance and strokes and those in front will no even worry you
