which one of these would be preferred on a bulk diet? i know of the obvious difference in nutritional value, and would appear that egg whites are better. however, the cholesteral in egg yolks are suppose to be good cholesterals right?

There is not one that is "better". It just depends what your goals are and what you aim to take in in a day. Based on that make your choice.
good cholesterol...bad cholesterol....thats a very murky question, the research is very mixed. Its not as simple as they make it out to be. read about the Framingham study. Anyway...that question has to be evaluated in the context of the rest of your diet. Do whatever will help you reach your desired/optimal balance of Carbs/Fat/Protein. Or just crack em and drink em raw !!!
