how many injections have you done??... 3? or countless?.... and frequency of injections??....
eventually you will get scar tissue if you keep injecting in the same place every week without letting it recover properly... your gonna have to rotate sites sometime... ull get a build up of hard tissue under the skin and into the muscle... ull know you have it when you feel the needle "tearing" thru it when pinning yourself... try w w w. s p o t i n j e c t i o n s . c o m .... shows you all the proper sites for injections!!
i do eod injections on my cycles(12 weekers)Originally Posted by J*U*icEd
just started 3rd cycle.
might give delts a shot tomorow (virgin musale)
and u don't have any scar tissue??... thats too often without recovery... and youve done this for 2 cycles before this?... ur definatly gonna wana get delts and some other easy sites, like quads, into the rotation...
yes i have always hit glutes ,exact same place on both side for 2 cycles shoting eod .Originally Posted by J*U*icEd

when i was usind 21g needles i got very bad scare tissue, injections would hurt for days.
yes that should be considered!... needle guage will also cause scar tissue to develope....Originally Posted by rabidsquirrel
scar tissue is basically when an area of the skin or muscle is damaged and the body forms thicker protective tissue to keep it from getting damaged again. It can be caused by deep cuts, disease, or frequent injections in the same spot.
trust me, you will know when you have developed scar tissue, when you poke you have to forcefully push the needle through the skin and you can feel it pushing thru different layers... sometime you cant even push it through. Just rotate, give the area time to heal properly and you will be fine
i dont think it would make injections hurt for days, that could be the BA or BB content. However, scar tissue has limited blood flow compared to the surrounding areas so maybe it takes longer to get absorbed, but I doubt that makes that much of a differenceOriginally Posted by rabidsquirrel
scar tissue is the tough tissue that your body produces to fix and reinforce the "injured" area. once the "injury" is healed the scar tissue does not hurt, it is on the other hand (in most individuals) stiff, off color from the skin, and it will not tan. In fewer individuals it can cause what's called keloid scarring which is puffy and large. If you build up large amounts of scar tissue in one area it can deform the skin surface, discolor the area, or god forbid cause big puffy growths of keloid. I know that diabetics and other needle users complain of "orange peeling" in areas they use to inject frequently... where the scar forms under the skin and causes a small dimple in the skin. To avoid this rotate your injection points. a friend of mine rotates through his shoulders and glutes... he doesn't have a problem.
