i know that cardio in the am on a empty stomach is the best as the body is in a fasted state and glycogen is low, so it will use fat as its fuel to get thru the workout.

i have been also told that the same or close enough situation can be acheived thru vigirous weight trainging say for 1hour followed by post workout cardio. due to my schedule and work, i only have the chance to slap on 20 mins of cardio post workout after each workout. i don't do it on leg days as they are fried from all the squatting etc.

1. if i drink a carbo drink to fuel my workout such as abb carbo-force (around 100 carbs, 400 calories, and 29grams of sugar will this interfere in the fatloss from post workout cardio as glycogen will be restored? should i not drink it? i find it really helps me througt my workout, i feel fuller from all the carbs and its an easy way to get another 100 carbs that are mostly complex from glucose polymers etc.

2. is there any best machine to use, i usually use the cross trainer as its easy on the body, and i can burn the most amount of calories on it?

thanks guys.
