substitute for cottonseed oil??

Just curious if there is any common subs for cottonseed oil to cut test with. I heard flaxseed oil but i would like other opinions. i dont have the abbility to order off the net, and cottonseed oil is not exactly easy to come by. and also, whats the best way to sterilize it before use?thanks.

Grapeseed oil, I have sum left but thats more to cut a shot with. Flaxseed oil has a shorter shelf life and I believe you have to refrigerate it if I'm not mistaken. Double check me on that.
