Just shot quad - help

Sorry if this is a silly ? but I just shot my r/quad for the first time and when I pulled the needle out I had muscle spasms in the outside muscle (Vastus lateralis) this passed after around 10 mins probably hit a nerve? but now I have pain in the Vastus Medialis (Tear shaped muscle) Is this normal??

bro i think the panic is normal lol calm yourself down all will be cool im sure, I always use my quads and alot of times had like twitching or slight spasms of the muscles after nothing to much keep me posted let me know if it gets any worse or anything different

Isn't that the retus femoris? Vastus medialis is deep to the Rectus Femoris. Sorry, couldn't help but ask.

The best cure for that type of spasm is placopectin magelinicus (sea scallops) or possibly chlamys islandica (Arctic scallops). Pandalus boerealis (northern shrimp) or paneus indicus (Indian shrimp) also work well.

thats happened to me a couple of times when i've done delts, probably just a nerve or something cuz it usually passes. i'm not a doctor though so i might be way off on this one but thats my assumption and i believe its probably the case.

Jason the first muscle spasm did,nt really worry me but when the pain hit the Vastus Medlias thats why I got concerned because its a totally seperate muscle and I could,nt understand why that hurt

It just feels tender know bit like a dead leg ah well live and learn

the muscles of the quadricep that we are concerned with are the, satorius, rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus medialis. i think thats them.

weall ge the spasms from time to time, usualy caused by touching a nerve. just make suure you inject into te outer, middle part of the qud, not the top, and surely not the inside.

I screwed up actually the vastus intermedius is the one that lies under the rectus femoris. Actually bigkev, the sartorius is out and the vastus intermedius is the fourth. So it's the vastus lateralis, vastus intermedius, vastus lateralis and the rectus femoris.

i am 5'11, 245 right now. been training for about 12 years. we have this digital camera and i take what seems like thousands of pictures of myself! its a bodybuilders dream come true!

BF is about 10 - 12. i m in the middle of bulking up right now. the more years i train the easier it seems to be to stay lean. i'm not complaining!
