For someone that just starts out, what work out style [mon., day off, weds., day off, friday, day off., then repeat] do you suggest just to get off that ground.

I read those stickys and I see how people work out one day then have a day off then work out then a day off in between every time.

Why exactly do they do this. I know part of this is to rest your muscles, but why can't you for instance do your chest, tris, and obliques on Monday, then your legs Tuesday, then your biceps and back Wednesday, and start all over with your chest, tris and obliques Thursday? I mean, by that time you have had two days for those muscles to heal.

I'm sure there's more to it. To tell you the truth, a lot of this phase of building mass is Latin to me, so any info will help!
