    breaking up leg work outs into 2 days

    I am doing a contest soon, and would like to really bring my legs up. What kind of 2 day split could I do for my legs. I was thinking somethoing allong the lines of
    tuesday
    squats-leg press-leg extensions
    saturaday-
    hamstring curls-lunges-stiff leg dead lifts.

    This is something for temporary use to bring something up. You go a little short of failure on a compound lift loaded heavy 4 to 6 reps or so. Then follow it up with isolation for the target muscle. like this.

    Tuesday
    squat and barbell hack squat superset and alternate calves with it 10 sets

    Saturday
    Romanian deadlift and leg curl superset 10 sets
    sumo deadlift with 25's superset with pyle squats 6 sets


    Or you could do less sets at a time and work legs more often. you can tack it on to other workouts.

    day 1
    squat/hack superset 5 alternate with calves

    day 2
    romanian deadlift/leg curl superset 5
    sumo/pyle squat superset 3

    day 3
    front squat/leg press superset 5 alternate with calves

    day 4
    deadlift/straight leg goodmorning superset 5
    wide squat/dumbbell sumo deadlift superset 3

    thats a split ive used b4 buff and i got some big wheels.
    Also through in some good mornings and hack machine

    thats crazy buff... i just started the same thing ... lol.... i started fri ... and worked legs again yesterday ... with same split ... wow... they feel nice and pumped .... yet weak yesterday....

    Splitting up legs is the way to go. Unless I'm doing upper/lower, I never do it all together.

    Yeah that's pretty much my routine minus the squats. I just can't do em anymore. I like splitting up legs 1 cause I hate doin em and 2 cause it lets me take my time and concentrate on one muscle group. Usually by the time I'm done with quads I'm hobbling around like a retard and the last thing I want to do is hit my hams. Better to let em rest for battle another day. I've been doing hams on back day cause I do stiff legged deads and that works my lower back too.
