i just started doing 45minutes of cardio at night, and i'll have a shake afterwards. I was just wondering if it's good to have protein after doing cardio at night or not? it's usually around 10:00pm...thanks

Yes, you need to feed your body usually within 30 minutes after working out.
However, with cardio it does not matter if you have a pro/fat or pro/cho meal after. But you need something.

Are you lifting before the cardio? I lift for 1-1.5 hrs have a shake then right to my cardio.
I lift for 1 - 1.5 hours then go right to cardio for 30 min, then have my shake. I dont know if thats that best way to do it, but it's what I've always done. haha,
