Your body has a set number called your Base Metabolic Rate (BMR). It is how many calories you burn every day (keeping your body warm, digesting food, and moving around, and exercising). If you eat less than that amount, you lose weight. If you eat more than that amount, you gain weight. It is impossible to gain muscle if you're eating less than your BMR.
Carbohydrates and fats are just as important as protein in your diet. To give you an idea, when I was about your weight, I ate 300g protein, 300g carbs, and 100-120g fats every day.
