    Correct reps and sets?

    I've being reading most of your guys post, but havent found the answer i am looking for, i've being training for 2 months now, not to hard just geting my body to adjust to working out, now that i think im ready to begin, im still not sure how to start, im 5.7' and 140lbs, i want to built cauz im very skinny, must i go heavy and do a few reps, or must i do alot, any suggestions on how to start!

    Personally i would say 8-10 reps and 3-4 sets....... others may think differently though

    - Pick compound exercises to pack on mass first. These include squats, deadlifts, SLDLs, Bench Presses, military presses, and the like. Work on one bodypart a week (a 4 or 5 day split) and apart from compound exercises, fill in the gap with DB exercises to work the stabilizing muscles as well.

    Stick to 9-12 sets for big body parts (chest, legs, back) and 6-9 sets for smaller ones (bis, tris, shoulders). Stay within the 8-10 rep range and make sure the last rep of every set is completed with so much difficulty that you can't do another good rep solo.
