Do you ever wonder about some people who train? I do.
Like the other day was at the gym and while on my way out I stopped to ask a guy what he was drinking.
This guy was about 155lbs MAX. At the moment Im 185 and that is about my untrained natural weight. normally im bordering on the 210 mark but have been training constant since i was 13 so i know the score, ive fiddled round wiht the sauce and my diet so i know pretty well how i work. ive been 225lbs at 15% and ive been 173lbs at 10% all in that order
I only asked him what his drink was to break the ice and to hopefully sell some supplements that i stock (who wouldnt), im not interested in making small talk for finding new friends.
Yeah so he proceeded to tell me that its a Maximuscle sup. (typical the only thing I don't supply)
So i asked him what he thought etc, as if i was interested in getting some (as if).
He then went on to tell me that a friend had given it to him, he didnt like it too much so he cracks a egg white in to it to help with the flavour etc.
He then asked about my training, to which i added i haven't done much in the last 3 months.
He must have thought that was an open invitation to give me some of his advise about bulking up (maybe i should'nt have said im trying to get back up to weight).
He then when on to tell me that its real good stuff and if i want to put on some weight n get big then that is the stuff for me (his sales pitch was not at all convincing).
All im wondering is, why do some people feel compelled to advise you on something they know nothing about? If i bumped in to a guy who was lets say 230lbs and toned i don't think id offer any advise as they are obviously doing something right.
