    weight lifting belt

I am getting a new weight lifting belt, and want to get a good leather one. What is better a 4in or 6in belt. Also if you know of a good website to get one at let me know. I will just be using the belt for legs and back so I want a comfortable one.

i bought a 4 inch VALEO leather belt yesterday..and wrist straps and gloves. Valeo makes good stuff, and I'm pretty sure they'll carry this stuff in local supp shops.

I use a 6" leather valeo. I have a pretty serious back injury, and I can train with it and it works brilliantly. The 4" doesn't feel as stiff or strong. I forgot it the other day at the gym and was doing dead lifts.... Let's just say I should have known better and I am in idiot!

I use my transverse ab_dominus mainly. It's right there under the rectus and obliques holding all my guts in very nicely on it's own. Then I back it up with the rest of the ab_dominals and the erector spinae. Works great and I always have them with me. As I go heavier, they just keep getting stronger. The bast part is the price, they came included with the rest of my body. A nice package deal.
