    Missed A Whole Week

    I have been down for a week due to the amount of work that has been put infont of me. I went back today and had the best workout of my life. never felt better. I have done this in the past but for two weeks ,, and had same results. i never work a muscle group out more than once a week, so i am getting plenty of rest between.. ANY IDEAS ON THIS

    It's because you performed a de-load which gave the joints, tendons and CNS time to fully recover.

    Slingshot Training incorporates a 2 week deload/anabolic priming phase. The people who skip this 2 week anabolic prime and go straight to the high volume phase cannot make continued gains in strength or size!

    every now and then i take 5 or do days off to rest up. Just had a trip out of town and i didnt work out for 5 days until yesterday, i felt nice and refreshed.

    I take a week every 3-4 months. You cant keep kicking your body's
    ass without giving your muscles and joints a break. (esp joints if ya been in the game awhile)
