    quick question

may be a dumb question but coming off a cycle you should lower the intensity of your training, not increase it correct? this is my first cycle and i remember reading this somewhere but i cant find the post.

also im sure this has been posted but a good way to help bust a strength plateau is while training with a partner have him force the weight down on the eccentric phase and then release for the concentric phase. this has worked wonders for my bench. just recently incorporated this so i thought id share. try it and see if it works for you.

    Wink

Decrease the volume by about half (depending on your current volume) until your body begins producing it's own natural test. Decrease calories a tad so you do not gain fat during PCT.

Same here, I usually up the reps a few more to make up for the lack of juice.

if you just put on a bunch of mass and want to hold onto as much as possible i would keep the cals up there during pct. the workouts are another story. if your working out 5-6days a week and doing 12sets per bodypart then i would def decrease the sets and add more days off. on the other hand if your doing something like lets say dc training then your sets cant get any lower and your aldy getting plenty recorevy time. best advice is to keep an eye on your body and make adjustments as needed.

Really? I thought I just read a post saying you should have a high calorie excess to keep gains...

Yes, he will need to stay in a calorie surplus even though his calories should be reduced only slightly. The main thing is to keep protein and healthy fat intake high! This is what prevents muscle loss more than anything.
