    creatine monohydrate and some MAJOR problems......help me out

    hey guys i was wondering what are some side affects of creatine monohydrate, because im taking 15g of creatine about 45min before my work outs on my lifting days and 5g on my off days anyways tonight was my third night that i took it and i have some MAJOR diarrhea. i wont go into details but think of turning a faucet on REALLY REALLY REALLY high

    im eating the same way i have been and then i added creatine and this is happening

    anythin i can do to a) stop it b) keep it from coming back THANKS




    also how do you recommend i take creatine monohydrate on my on and off days please let me know when and how man g's thanks

    your taking about 3 times the amount you should be in one sitting...i hate monohydrate, it bloats the **** out of me

    it doesnt bloat me i like it, gives me energy, but do you think the problem is in overdosing?

    yeah your taking a lot. Most dosages are between 5 and 10 grams, 10 grams being on the high side.

    Regardless of dosage creatine simply aggravates some people.. I get the shits too from just a gram or two!! it sux.

    Im taking mono hydrate right now
    I preloaded for 5 days
    5 6g servings day for 5 days for preload
    Now Im just on maint 1 serving 6g per day
    Working out fine

    Not sure if this applys, but just because your doing more than normal doesn't mean better performance and strength.

    ok my understanding was higher dosage = more strength? guess i was wrong, i lowered it down to 5g PWO and im perfectly fine no more shits lol

    Mono just made me bloated and messed with my stomach. I bought some Kre-Alkalyn in december and have had no problems so far.

    In my biology class our teacher was discussing different supplements and said with creatine, in excess amounts, you just end up pissing it out, so stick around 5g per serving like everyone else said.
