    Damage control suggestion needed????

    I've been back training for roughly 3 months and today experienced a nice little twinge during shrugs,not enough to make me stop the set but on a scale of 1-10 the pain was a strong 5.The majority of my workouts consist of machine work for exactly this reason.So I finished my trap workout which was just 4 more sets and went home.The pain is significant but I think I can train with it but what's the best thing to do.

    dont do movements that agitate it for several weeks and see if A)Goes away or B) the pain atleast decreases
