If muscle is more dense (weighs more) than fat, and if it takes up less space, more consolodated ( as in surface area), then your weight isn't as good of an indicator of your gains as your look...again, its only been a week, but many times your measurements and the mirror are going to be a much better indicator of your progess than your weight, not always, but many times...
