    New Member Needs Suggestions

I'm new, thought I'd make my first post here.

    I'm 23, 5' 8'' and 170 lbs

In the last 2 years ive gotten kinda fat, and i want to get in shape and all "buff" lol for the summer

Since its already half way through feb, I dont have much time. So I was thinking of using AAS to speed up the process.

I've never cycled, and i've never really "worked out" seriously. Like I've gone to the gym before but never had a regimen or anything. I'm just naturally kind of built looking, but I havent lifted any weights for like 3 years

I know completely nothing about diet, workout regimens or cycling. But i'm trying to learn.

Hope you guys can give me some pointers.

This is what my body looks like as of today

Welcome. You need to study up on proper diet and training, and focus on that until you approach your natural potential. You are very far away from needing steroids.

Welcome to steroid.com And As stated hit up the diet forum (lots of great stickies up top that will help with cutting) And also the exercise forum. I agree with also starting lots of carido but also hit up the weights to start gaining a solid base.

Thanks for all the posts, I really appreciate it

I'll go and study the diet forum

The only reason I was considering aas is because i only have like 3 months to get in shape. I was under the impression that I could get more out of my workouts that way since I'd be able to work out longer and harder.

I wasn't planning on using them for a long time, just those 3 months before summer. I assumed that wouldnt hurt.

Thanks for the pointers so far guys, sorry if i ask some noob questions.

    how much cardio? 1 - 1.5 hours a day twice a day...

running in the morning + push ups, situps, jumping jacks, v-ups, mountain climbers, leg lifts, forward lunges

    repeat in the evening..

did push-ups throughout the day, just stop and knock out 25-50 once an hour.. obviouslly i started smaller, 10 or so push-ups and worked my way up.. i can knock out 85 now

i cant stress a healthy diet though.. low fat diet mixed with some carbs and lots of fruit and veggies

NO STEROIDS FOR YOU SIR. If your diet is trash and you don't have proper training experience the steroidsaren't gonna be much help. Like it's been said you need to reach your natural potential first.

i will end up doing it without... i was just under the impression that aas allow you to work out longer and harder

is that not what they do?

3 hours of cardio a day! ouch...

these next 3 months are gunna suck

i thought an hour a day was alot/enough

How did you motivate yourself to do all that??

I'm not a morning person so I'd have to do it like after school and then again before bed

An hour a day in the morning before breakfast is enough. You can drop 2-3 lbs a week over the next 12 weeks and you'll be very happy with the progress. Post a typical daily diet in the diet forum and we'll take a look at it. If you're just starting out you'll have even fast results with a proper diet and workout regime.

yea id say i more or less averaged an hour in the morning and an hour at night... i guess it was 1.5 hours with the stretching and cooldown etc..

once i saw improvements i kept going, that was enough motivation. once the lbs started shedding it was great. i cant go a day without making a trip to the gym now.

work on your cardio to lean up. once you're lean you'll get a better idea of what your problem areas are and what you need to improve on.

You must have good work ethic when it comes to training and dieting. Not want to do so called 3 hours of cardio is fine, if you don't wanna, but how bad do you want it. You will only get out of training what u put in. You half ass train and you'll see half ass results. I hate cardio, ya know what I do? I run on a treadmill in front of a mirror and stare at the parts of my body I wanna lose fat in (stomach mainly). You must visualize the goal and remember one workout at a time, don't overwhelm yourself, just say as long as I do my cardio today I'll be alright. Say that everyday when you wake up. Make it a priority.

    Good responses, thus far.

Read up, very carefully, on proper dieting techniques- this is paramount to any type of progress you will make.

IMHO, I think you should be doing both cardio and starting a basic strength training program. You should look to develop a maintenance routine in order to keep whatever muscle you currently have- 3 times a week, simple, compound movements. A beginners' strength training routine will also aid in the fat loss process.

Research, research, research; and, remember, good information isn't confined to this site.

Amen. When I'm cutting I'm cutting I make myself do cardio 7 days/week because if I take a slight break from the cardio I'm more prone to slip up on it for additional days. Same goes for me on diet besides on my days I purposely carb up.

If you barely have worked out in the past then you don't need steroids to make you work out "longer or harder" you need to learn to work out on your own fer years learning about diet, nutrition, supplementation, and of course lifting before even considering the use of aas. It's not something that should EVER be taken lightly and if your unskilled in any of these other areas the steroids aren't gonna give you what you're looking fo anyways.
