    Cutting diet with macro totals - please critique

    I've always kept a strict diet...or so i thought but now I want to keep track of everything while I try and cut some weight.

    I weigh 215lbs and am aiming to cut gradually while preserving lean muscle.

    Please take a look and give me some feedback.

    Meal 1 - Wake up/7.00am
    1 Scoop whey protein

    Meal 2 - 7.45am
    6 egg whites
    6 wheetabix/100g oats

    Meal 3 - 11.00am
    200g chicken
    1 cup broccoli

    Meal 4 - 2.00pm
    125g tuna
    1 wholemeal pitta

    Meal 5 – 05:00pm
    150g Turkey/beef
    Handful nuts/seeds

    Meal 6 – 07:00pm
    150 Grams Salmon/Tuna Steak
    1 Cup green beans/spinach/brocoli
    1 cup brown rice/wholewheat pasta

    WORKOUT - 8.30pm

    Meal 7 - PWO Shake
    Two scoops Whey protein
    50g dextrose
    50g maltodextrin

    Meal 8 10:30pm
    200g Cottage cheese
    4 X cod liver oil gels

    Protein Carbs Fats
    280g 200g 50g

    I am going to gradually decrease the carbs as I go to about 150g.

    post those macros for each meal, and calories for each meal along with totals.

    Thanks nova. It is 2400 calories/day but I will re-post diet in more detail.
