    powdered carbs

So we use protein shakes in place of having to eat food, right? So are drinking powdered carbs a good replacement for eating food?

I have this product by MM mass nutrition call called carbo mas it has 58 grams of carbs with less the 3 bing sugars and 220 calories

I now take 1.5 servings of powder protein and 1 serving of powdere carbs both in my mid morning snake and post work out. 40 protein and 58 carbs 390 calories

Is this a good replace for eating solid food for one meal out of the day and post work out? Is it not a good idea to use when cutting?

or i guess and info you have on useing this type of supplement.

whole food is better than shakes IMO. so no, it wouldn't be a substitute for me. but PWO if you want a shake it would be ok.

IMO it is ok. Carbs more so than protein as carbohydrates are pretty much broken down into less substance than protein is. Meaning that powder is just a product of the food source itself just in a powdered form, example being WMS, it is simply the starch rendered from a carb heavy corn product. It is better than substituting protein though as amino acid profiles and digestion speed come into play with protein supps, they are never as good as whole animal protein. Go for it
