Low SHBG levels?

So after some reading (http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi...01-1-1150928.x) I learned that anavar causes levels of shbg to be depressed for a fairly long time after use. I tried to do a little research but all I could find was that low shbg was an indicator of diabetes. What exactly does shbg do and should I be concerned about low shbg levels caused by aas?

SHBG binds to your free test and makes it inactive, you can see it as a prison
for test. So if you wanna build muscle its good to have low SHBG, and dont worry about the anavar lowering it to much. I think its safe to say that anavar will not give you diabetes.
