    stupid kid messed up my shoulder

    so this guy i kno was giving me lift while i was doing flat dumbell press he pushed my elbow foward and up causeing all the weight to go back towards him so i had to let them go or i would have really mess it up but it ruined the rest of my work out and now its sore im afraid its not gonna heal in time befor i do chest again what should i ido to recover quicker and not have my shoulder give out next time i bench this is a little choply written lil tired so any q's ask me but much thanks to your advice

    To start maybe do a little less weight and take some time off from working out shoulder. Shoulders injuries are very common so it is not something to take too lighty.

    it wasnt too much weight i was able to put up the weight with out him the second time i just wanted the extra lift on the first up

    I hate when that shit happens. Some guy almost decapitated me when I couldn't get the barbell up anymore.

    i think he means now that you are injured, a little less weight to work through it until you feel better. Just my guess, cuz i would suggest as little weight as you need so theres very little pain and work through it unless it's real bad.

    You can have 10 lb DB's and have it in the wrong position and it cause injuries.

    If it grinds in anyway you better go have it looked at. I am rehabbing right now from surgery and it sucks. I go get the staples out tommorow.

    don't ignore pain, if it hurts stop. If you have a injury and continue to grind on it, you will make worse, without question.
