Just finished show and need advice for coming of letro..

Just after my show course and after being on letro for 14 weeks tappering dose from 0.25mg (EOD) right up to 2.5mg(top dosage- ran for last 3 weeks ED) what would be the best way to come off and avoid estro rebound?

Was planning on waiting 2weeks for the high dose (2.5mg) to subside then start on quarter tabs (0.625mg)every 4 days or so for 4 weeks then 1/6 tabs (0.25mg) for another 4 weeks taken every 4 days.

*Is this too long a period to taper off over?
    * Are the letro dosages to small to be tapering off on(even thoough its highly suppresive) if so what dosages would be better?

Ill also be takening small amounts of HCG (500I.IU every 4 days) for 8 weeks to stimulate natural test, was running it through the cycle as well but stopped it 8 weeks out from comp(was running at 500i.u every 3-4 days). Im aware that HCG will also give off estro, but at this low dose and with letro stil coming in which is highly supresive it shouldnt be an issue??

    Any advice?

I'd say just drop to 1/2tabs for a week and then introduce another AI on your last day of letro like a full dose of arimidex or aromasin....Aromasin is my favorate it will balance you out pretty well especially runnin the HCG...

x2 aromasin all the way. You're gonna have a rebound no matter how you taper it. I'm currently dealing with the same thing and I've got aromasin and nolva, working well.

adding another AI is a ridiculous way to avoid rebound. how on earth do you guys propose that it would help?
Add nolvadex at 20mg ED. After a week drop the letro and continue with the nolva for a further 20 days or so. AIs prevent the body from producing aromatase. When you discontinue the AI there will be an increase in aromatase. If you are running nolva it will bind to the receptors preventing the excess estrogen (caused by excess aromatase) from binding to them.

    Bumpin this back up!

Does anyone think there will be "an increase in aromatase" after discontinuing aromasin? I was under the impression that it wouldn't rebound bc it is a suicidal inhibitor. This is, of course, very important. If anyone thinks it will cause a rebound, please explain (including you, Beast).....
