hey guys,
I've been waiting on an order it's been over 3 weeks now..So i spoke with my supplier and he is willing to ship another one..

My question:
Would it be safe to send it to the same name and address again. This time with a tracing number? Or would that be a bad idea being the first one hasn't arrived to the address??

Any advice would be appreciated

if nothing after 4-6 weeks, get them to send you the postcard again but to a different addy and with tracking.

its kind of a long story...

I received the first postcard, but then it got sent back b/c my last name didn't match my id...(made it to me in 10 days) I was so angry

In the interim he sent me a new postcard w/out the tracing number and its been 3 + weeks..Im just concerned b/c of the difference in shipping times between this postcard and the last one..

He said he is willing to ship it again...
So your thinking I should still wait longer??
or
If I opted to have him send it out again would I be taking a chance sending it to the same addy with a tracing #?

get him to send another if he is willing but get it sent to another addy and with tracking..

then if ya other one turns up.. keep ya mouth shut!

lol thats my plan, but how do I send it to a different addy with tracking..Im at this current address so if i send it to a diff address im not going to be able to sign for it when it arrives..you catch my drift?

I'm not sure this is exactly applicable to your situation...I've heard that if you need postcards sent to your actual address then its a good idea to write "Return To Sender" onto the postcard's envelope after it arrives- then wait for the right time...

Anyhow- just thinking out loud- good luck

in my experience 2-4 weeks is normal

wow you have a stupied dealer or he is playing you. any dealer knows 3 weeks isnt anything and no real source will reship after only 3 weeks. most wont reship without a customs letter and that caan take months. maybe he's just trying to maake you feel better and buy himself more time since he never shipped it.
