The most common side effect that IGF delivers is hypoglycemia, so you need to ensure you know how to prevent from going hypo before using IGF. IGF also has the potential to deliver more serious side effects down the track, but these sides don't arrive that easily as they usually occur after many years of use at high doses.
Generally doing a 4 week cycle @ 40 - 50mcg p/day few times a year is fairly safe so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
I would defenitely see your doc and get checked for any cancerous cells before use.
