    Garlic Noses

    http://weblogs.newsday.com/news/loca...ob_hold_t.html

I wonder how much more dirt they have on the Reverend Wright? My prediction is this won't make many waves since he's talking about Italians and slurring Italians is perfectly acceptable these days.

I swear, this would have BURIED any candidate if the photo was a negative of what it is here.

wah wah wah...stop whining Act of God! White people are treated soooo unfairly...

So Barack is raised by whites outside the black community, he himself is half white but of course he's a racist and hates whites...whatever. How come you haven't posted that his church is 99% white? How come you or the media hasn't pointed out the long close relationship that John McCain, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, and every other republican has had with Strom Thurman?

Lastly so far those reports of the garlic noses comment hasn't been confirmed. I look forward to the video of that comment!

You think they were just made up out of thin air? Come on now, this guy clearly is a soundbyte factory. What makes it worse is that while BO sat through this hatred for 20 years, he then exposed his children to it as well.

If McCain went to a church for 20 years and put the reverend on his campaign who referred to blacks as "watermelon tongues" he would have to drop out of the race. There is no question.

What about McCains 30+yr association with Thurman, you still haven't answered that.

Besides being a black man who attended churches like this during my childhood, I ended up marrying a white woman. Yeah that rhetoric had a tremendous effect on me...

The fact remains there is a certain amount of truth to what Rev. Wright said in the eyes of many civil rights era blacks. There is no denying that. What we take from a sermon is up to the individual. We do have a CHOICE to take from a sermon what we want to take from a sermon.

Exactly... I attended a church that I enjoyed a while back and they said some things that I did not agree with but the crowd was great and I had fun. Just because the minister says something doesn't mean we are obligated to follow it. I mean, look at our moronic leader George Bush, he is the President of my country, but do I believe everything he says? Hell no...

Do you embrace George Bush and treat him like a family member? no. This goes wayyyyyy past just going to church on Sunday with these two. Wright was given a position in the campaign for crying out loud!

It isn't like BO was just another guy who went to church there. He fully embraced this guy for 20 years, brought him into his family and INTO HIS POLITICAL LIFE (by giving him a position in the campaign). There is a difference there, you have to admit.
