    Had my bodyfat % measured tonight

    Digital calipers. Five readings.

    1 pinch halfway between the nipple and the armpit crease > Measured 3mm

    1 pinch 1 inch to the right of the belly button, and down a little > Measured 4mm

    1 pinch 3/4 up the centre of the thigh. > measured 2mm.


    It calculated each time, 1.5%. I am extremely lean, yes. I have a full six abs and cuts in my glutes, yes. But 1.5%.. is that even possible???

    My stats are:

    22
    5' 9"
    150lbs
    Been cutting on EC stack the last 2 month.


    I'm going to measure again in the morning and see what that tells me.

    My thoughts exactly. I'd be absolutely lethargic. The pro's don't even come in at that contest time.

    Yeah, I had the same problem with a BF test from a trainer at a gym, I came in around 4.5 there and in actuality I was aroun 11-12, so that might give you some sort of comparison to base your actual BF on. But like chuck said just post some pics in the pic forum and people will let you know what you are.

    So tested again today using the following method:

    Result = 5.6% - Rounded to 6%.

    That is probably more like it.

    Camera phone shots so as clear as one can expect. And to add, I don't train abs directly. Ever. Hence their lack of size. I feel Major compound lifts via stability are enough for me.

    Looks more than 6 to me...I'd say a bit under 9-10%, maybe 8%...

    Nice pic. My friend has very elastic skin as well. He is able to get lower than actual results on certain tests. At least you are actually a very low bf% and quite impressive. People wanted you to post pics probably hoping you were around 15 and able to take the piss out of you a bit. But your quite fit. Good luck and keep working out.

    the caliper method is not real reliable vs other methods for those below 5 or 6 % body fat.

    Can't really tell the % from the pic...cept that you're lean.

    Cuts in your glutes would put you sub-6% tho IMO.

    Unless all of your 150 lbs are your glutes

    bump for full-length pics.

    And congrats on getting so lean.

    Looks good brotha, cant tell just from abs. I'd say 6% is a definite possibility.

    Depends on how he's put together.

    Some people hold less fat in their glutes.

    Also, I've seen a lot of lighter guys with glutes which are shredded even before they are 'on' (i.e. absolutely contest ready).

    The guy whose pic you pulled there, I would put sub-6%..Probably 5%...

    sometime they are actually measure your under skin body fat not total body fat.

    Hey brosif, let me tell you great job on cutting.

    I'm a strong believer that you can tell a person determination depending on their body.

    I know it's easier for some then others. I'm a perfect example! To cut, it's always an uphill battle.
