Edited. Equipoise/benzyl alcohol in kermel apricot usps grade oil/WTF?

The consistancy is like a little watery I'm guessing from the alcohol,but why does it have an alcohol base?All Equipoise I've used a couple years ago was oil base.It has the color of real Equipoise but the alcohol concerns me.Equipoise is gear that smooths out the alcohol base stuff that stings like Suspension so what gives?I'll post pics within the hour.

benzyl alcohol is the solvent and is also an antrimcrobial. Most injectables probably have some BA (1%-5%) for these purposes.

Yes BA is what causes prop to burn, and its because you have to use a lot of it in order to suspend the prop.

I can't say for sure, but the fact that it has benzyl alcohol in it doesn't mean its not.

FYI: its not an alcohol "base." There's probably 2% BA by volume, and 98% oil. The fact that there's BA in there is a good indication that its sterile. So even if it doesn't get you huge, at least you won't get an infection!

No, I'm just saying that the BA keeps it sterile.

Hey dude you know you can check the serial numbers on the UGL's site to make sure the gear isn't counterfeit?

Are you sure you got the serial # for the first one correct because I tried putting it in and it said incorrect serial number when I tried it. Not sure if EQ works with the verification system though since it's not a "human-grade" product.

The second serial # (whatever product that was) worked fine though.


I'd love to see pics too if youv'e got em because I'm waiting on the same gear (EQ 250 from the same lab)

Ok yeah they both check out as genuine products from that lab, not counterfeit.

Can't speak for the quality of the lab because I havent tried it yet, but at least you know it's actually made by them.
