What a storm!

We had a ****ing storm from hell last night, I still say it was a ****ing tornadoe.

I wakeup at 4am to mortor fire and wind blowing like crazy. I get up and look out the window and can't see shit. I then went and opened my door and could barley get it closed from the wind, I remember looking out and thinking "**** this shit, I'm not going out there to look". The power kept going on and off, finally when it came back on, I went and turned the TV on to see what the hell was going on, somebody had to know right? haha

The TV came on but no channels, so I calmy without thinking went back to bed. I keep waking up and can now hear my neighbours talking loud outside. I almost got up to tell them to shut the hell up but let it go and went back to sleep.

I woke up and didn't want to get up so I kept hitting the snooze button on my Blackberry (my alarm was out). The power was still out, I finally get up and start sending an email saying I would be late. I then try to go in the shower and its cold as shit so I think "Shit, that a good enough excuse to hang out for awhile".

I then opened my door and could see people standing around, i'm like "Wtf" and walk out and look down and see this








My car wasn't damage thankfully and my apartment is ok, my neighbour though got all ****ed up. You walk in and you can see the sky.

Nature sure can whoop your ass if she sees fit.

This has to be the storm in DFW. I was born and raised there, just recently moved to seattle, but of course am back often and keep in touch with everyone there. I heard it was REALLY bad.

Holy shit, that's insane. Before you posted this, I just watched an episode of Friday Night Lights where a tornado hit the fictional town of Dillon, Texas. Glad to know you're all right!

Thats where I am at.....I was asking where he was because that looks exactly like the apartments right down the road from me. I drove by this on may way to work the other day.
We had 5 confirmed tornado touchdowns that night.

one hit my building too. It took about a 20ft section of the roof off. I'm on the frist floor of 3 and rain was cominng in my ceiling

From what friends and family told me, I know that there was a tornado that touched down in Allen and somewhere in between Plano and Carrolton. Ahhh yes...spring time in Texas got to love storm season!
