How long does it take for arimidex to start working?

I don't FULLY understand this question, and I doubt you do either.

All drugs start working as soon as they reach the active site. For this one, via digestion, is generally 30 mins to an hour depending on the specific receptor and accompaniment (w/ or w/o food). It has a terminal elimination half-life of approximately 50 hours, which means that's how rapidly it'll be completely evacuated. Lastly, and this is what most people with your question refer to, it reaches steady-state levels in 7 days of 1 x ED dosing. Steady-state means highest blood plasma/serum concentration.

I have had issues with gyno in the past i started taking arimidex yesterday at .5 eod. I just recently started my cycle of omnadren at 250mg eod. I have taken 2 shots of the omnadren so far, and have noticed a lil puffiness in my nips. Since i am prone to gyno should i up the dosage to .5 ed or should i just keep taking it .5 eod and see what happens. I know i may a lil paranoid but i have a lil gyno to begin with and the last thing i want is man boobs. I also will be adding 400mg of deca starting next week. i will be running the deca for 12 weeks. Please let me know what you think

Sorry to hear that, both the gyno and that you're attempting to treat it with A-dex. This drug though applicable in female breast cancer, has no effect on male gyno. Run some searches, there are plenty of good recent gyno threads.

Im not trying to treat it im trying to make prevent it from getting worse. Im running it as an AI on cycle im not trying to use it to rid my gyno not sure where you got that from

And maybe I was unclear. A-dex has NO effect on gyno, this would hold not only for its resolution, but also for its prevention, especially if the estradiol levels have already increased.

Cool, your body, and as the abortionists say "Your Choice". But a far wiser move would be to attack the gyno soon (increasing effect), off cycle (not hindering gains) and with another AI...any other one!

understood I konw what your saying its just that there are plenty of thread on here that say that arimidex if run on cycle will hinder gains but will lower your estrogen level. If you estrogen level is lower there should be less estrogen to bind to the receptors. Therefore a less chance for your gyno to grow or for you to get gyno. I know that there is more to gyno then that believe me i have read my ass off, and have posted threads asking peoples opinions and it seams to me what i am saying is not true according to you. Im not tryin to be a dick im just confused i guess. What would you have suggested as an ai for this cycle?

A-dex does work as you stated above, and thus undoubtedly reduces estrogen-related sides. But if I already had gyno (arguably the most severe side possible), and decided to continue cycling PRIOR to Tx, I'd seek greater protection.

But each man must follow his own .

Ok i got you now. I have ran letro before and it greatly reduced the size. This is my first cycle since and was just hoping that the arimidex would stop the estrogen well enough that i wouldnt have to resort to letro. Thats why i originally asked if the dosage was correct and if i should up the dosage to .5 ed indsted of .5eod
