    serious question

    I've got about 12 years of heavy lifting in and I'm about start my 1st cycle, nost likely a mild/moderate test/deca cycle, I have my PST all lined up but I have some reservations and I'm wondering how worried I should be about diminished libido etc.
    I'm almost 35 so I've experienced a slight drop off in my libido since my 20's but nothing out of the ordinary. I understand that I'm in a pretty good age group as far as gains vs. side effects. I guess the reason that it's a concern is this; I'm single and I tend to date younger women, I don't want my sex drive to disapear once I've got my summer body where I want it....okay, come to think of it, I'm not keen on my sex drive dropping off at all.
    I've been impressed by the candor and knowledge that you guys display when answering people's questions in here and would love your feedback on this.

    Go with a simple Test E or C cycle for ya first cycle.

    400-500mg per week for 12 weeks, followed by a PCT 2 weeks later.

    Your sex drive will be through the roof, not diminish.
    And when i say through the roof, i meant you'll want it 5 times a day for a good hour at a time. lol

    whats your planned PCT?

    Think I should leave the deca alone? I've heard such good things, for instance; I heard that it will help you hang onto your gains longer.

    If this is your first cycle, stick with just test. You'll grow like a weed anyway.

    really? What if I only want to do a cycle or two a year? Any suggestions for hanging on to my gains?
    I should have stated my goals earlier too, like I said, I'm looking for size and power and any leaning up (which my diet should help take care of) would be the icing on the cake.

    With proper PCT you should be able to keep most of the gains you get from a test only cycle. If you plan to do more cycles later on, you can look at stacking things like deca, but for a first cycle there's no reason to stack.

    well while you are on cycle, your libido should be significantly increased due to the test being administered. basically you will feel like you are 20 again.

    now as far as post cycle, no one can tell you for sure if you could run into libido issues. it depends on each individual user. but with a solid PCT setup, you should rebound with minimal issues. you can also have cialis or viagra on hand for after cycle for those transisition weeks.

    why dont you post your proposed PCT to make sure its on point...

    That is good news, you guys are the shit! I was just planning on clomid for PCT, but I don't know if I should wait the recomended 21 days after the deca or the shorter period recomended for test.

    I'm just looking for more size and power, and if I get leaner, thats a plus. I'm not into bodybuilding but naturally, I'm not opposed to looking better as long as I can maintain my weight.

    Oh yeah; any precautions I should take? I don't drink much, I enjoy an occasional cigar, and I'm cleaning up my diet like crazy but I'm still a little worried about being able to take in the protein I require.

    research on the board, and get you PCT straight!
