Hello all: I was doing the Protein Power, low-carb diet from Dr. Eades, which is a little bit like one of the latest low-carb methods of dieting, a little bit like Dr. Atkins, The Zone, and other low-carb diets out there. But at night i felt so kinky, nervous and lethargic, that i had to go back to eating my apples and fruits.
The problem with those diets, is that they restrict fruits and vegetables so much, and include too much fats, and i just cannot eat too much fat. I cannot digest oils, butter, peanut butter, i feel so heavy, when i eat fats. I don't understand how can they lose weight eating so many calories from fats.
I mean i understand that it is high-insulin levels from carbohydrates which is fattening and i know that it is not exactly fat in food which makes us fat, but high-insulin levels which increase weight gain and fat storage.
However my body cannot digest so much fats as they prescribe in the low carb diets
