Does ANYONE here work as a sound effects editor for movies or something? Because there has always been this yelling sound that's used in SO many movies (and videogames) that i've been trying to find the name for for so long already, and I just found this video clip where someone on youtube finally made a compilation of movie scenes with the sound:

What the hell sound is this? It's not the Wilhelm Scream, that's something else. It's the most hilariously over-done and out of place scream sound effect I have EVER heard. It doesnt even sound human! I'm sure nearly all of you have heard this scream in at least one movie you've seen. I remember the first time I ever heard this scream was back in the 90s when I played that first person shooter videogame Star Wars: Dark Forces. When you fell off a cliff, he'd make that scream. And then the second time I heard it was in the movie Broken Arrow (that scene in the compilation where the guy gets kicked out of the train). Every time I hear that scream in a movie, it always sounds WAY to exaggerated for whatever is going on in a scene. Is this some inside joke among sound editors in Hollywood to use this scream in EVERYTHING in scenes where it doesn't even fit!?
