    this board leans to the right IMO

    I have noticed for the most part some MOds and members lean towards the right a little. I am just a little disgusted that an honest discussion thread about jesus being president was locked when nobody was flaming anyone and there is a 5 page thread still open asking about and professing christianity? WTF, this is just like the equality we are trying to achieve with steroid laws and here we are locking threads that are very good discussions and no rules broken on the thread. Can I just ask why this is fair?

    it was funny, after awhile but comeone locked it (spy?) and I have no idea why, it was a legit question, how would jesus be treated now if he was running for president?? i just wanted to draw a picture of what the political system does to good people

    There could have been things that could sway or piss off other members in that thread OR it could have been spiriling down to that in which it was locked so it didnt happen. Religion and politics are very touchy subjects with people so if it looks like it may go in a bad direction then it gets locked. Trust me, ive seen it happen b4 where everyone is fine and being respectful, then one jackass ruins it for everyone.

    i must agree with u .I just read every post in that thread and still dont understand why it was locked,it was an open discussion in a open forum that was far from serius.

    Every thread that I have witnessed being locked has been offensive/extremely negative/against the rules... to imply that the mods on this board have a political or religious extremest agenda is down right silly...

    im glad you see what i mean, it upsets me a bit that he would lock that thread. It was either an abuse of powers or clear bias to another frame of mind. This are you a christina thread is still going strong though?? WTF

    Just go with the flow, someone with the powers that be didn't like your thread so it's gone. Start a new one of a different subject...your baby is dead.

    btw one of my posts got deleted in the christian thread, I was just stating my views. Anyway the people in charge need to keep everyone happy. If my post pissed people off, I'm glad it's gone.

    im just not on this kiss ass thing, where all my posts are me trying to get the attention of staff so i cn be a MOD like 80% of the people on here, I dont want to be a MOD on a steroid board so I dont go around repeating things like a parrot.I have my own views too, and that was a very good discussion if you saw it like it was intednded, and I dont recall anyone on there being pissed except the one who locked the thread to show everyone he was a mod i guess. I am pissed about the thread being locked only b/c it isnt fair that the are you a christian thread is 5 pages deep and still not locked???? how about that are you a christian thread pisses me off? then what? so only 1 other person is going to step up and say this is BS?

    it was meant to show how good people that do good things get caught in the political system, thats all. it was intended to prove a point, what if Borak Obama has the ideals that can change this world right now? its unfortunate that because of the political system things get taken out of context and turned into "this is not PC!"

    i just re-read peoples responses and it seemed like a lot of people understood the parralell i was drawing there, how the political system can take a good man and turn him into a bad person by taking things out of context and playing semantics. I didnt see any need for the pictures in that thread, nor did I post them, but most people were responding with emotional inteligance.

    I reopened the thread... as long as it stays cival it will remain open I did not see a problem with it the title said what it was... as the rules state... I did see where it could have taken a turn for the worse but you all handled it like adults and got back to what the jest of it was... anyway it is open...

    Yes I could def. see that thread leaning towards the wrong direction in why it was closed. Numerous posts in there that could offend a lot of people and to save that from happening it was closed.

    Agree with your concern. There does seem to be recently more tolerance for conservative views than liberal on this board.

    Not dramatic, but just enough to irritate, like with the locking of this thread.

    I definatly wasnt talking about you Krat. and to confirm, my thread was intended for an intelligent discussion. I too was a little preturbed, not offended, by the pictures etc. they have no pupose, i dont like them in any thread unless they really serve a point.

    Yes I understand why it was locked because it can be ofensive to some and does heat some... as you could tell by the posts that is why it was locked... however we are supposesed to be more tolerant in here as long as it is titled and doesnt get to far out of hand.... come on guys have some fun...
