Any turkey hunters here?

Last day of the season in FL, so i head to the farm. to make a long story short, i called these 2 birds in from a loooong way off, took 1.5 hrs to get them to come in, had to gobble and imitate an excited hen. Shot one, the other jumped on him and started spurring him like crazy, so BAM he goes down also. Both were 3 yo birds, not the really big birds like i usually chase, but they were dominant birds, so they got gotten. Mmmmm mmmmm, grilled wild turkey breast is good living!

i do.. i dont only kill turkeys to feel like a man i kill gators/hogs/deer/ducks/snakes/fish/ lol.. do u not eat meat or do you just like to buy it at a store where someone eles has kelled it for you?

I just find it rather stupid to sit there and brag about "making turkey sounds, and killing them"....

as with the whole deer thing....sit up in your little watch tower feeder whatever and cover yourself with deer piss, and shoot it as it comes to feed...and then brag.....i dont get it sry

ya i got ya hunting is not for everyone but i realy enjoy it geting out in the wood away for everone sitting quitly and unless your are a hunter you will never know the rush you get when you seen game walking into sight its the biggest rush i have ever felt plus sitting around a fire at night talking about the hunt listening to country music with good friends. but ya your right stupid lol !!!

actually you have to make the turkey sounds by farting, so it's a challenge. It's not about killing, it's about being in the outdoors and all the good stuff associated w/ that. I've let about 10 gobblers i called in go this season, sometimes i just don't wanna kill the critter... It's not for everyone, and it's easy to think it's stupid if you haven't experienced it, different strokes bro. Come to my neck of the woods next season, and i'll take ya, and you just might get a different perspective.
