    2008 Ninja 250R Actually Cool?

Anybody seen the 08 Ninja 250R. I think it is actually really good looking and only $3500 MSRP. Think about snatching one up for fuel efficiency. Used to ride GSXR 750 but don't really care about size nowdays.

I like it. I would have had no problem getting one before but the old models were so damn ugly. Thing about bikes is you get a bunch of guys saying, "oh thats gay" blah blah blah..... As long as you like it who gives a shit.

I was REALLY surprised too. And then surprised again at the price. See Profile for my stats. Might look silly though, after test cycle. Will be nice when gas goes over $4.00

Yeah I think I am going to pick one up. I really doubt anyone would say that to me in person. I think this new redesigned model is the shit compared to previous. Good value IMO.

I actually used to have a Ninja 250r (the older, ugly model). The performance is surprising for a little 250. It'll really move you down the road in a hurry.

I guess this one has more HP. I will let you guys know how it runs in the next couple days if they have one at the dealer. I am just going to ride around town to save gas, and for like 45 min rides home on weekends, so going really fast doesn't matter to me.

i just talked to my buddy who works at a dealer nd they are back ordered for a while. This is a great ed driver for some one that wants good gas mileage. I have a real sport bike and would sport this thing.

Yeah I read that too. Heard there were some crazy mark-ups originally.

    ..than a 250R or a Gsxr 600?

This is something new that I think is kind of cool. It's an all-electric dirt bike. It would be great if you like to ride dirt bikes but have neighbors that b!tch a lot about the 2-stroke engine whine.

This article has a video of it running

Yeah, a super moto can flip your ace over really quick.

I learned to ride on an old-style (theugly one) Ninja 250R. Really surprised me how much power it had for such a little bike. Don't know if I could go back to that after having a 750 GSXR though...

I thought down-grading from my 750 was a good idea at the time but it takes me forever to get to work on my new bike

We like to call them wheelie machines. Did you ever take one through twisties? That's where they really shine.

    My favorite supermoto video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=zpHC8HQyKgE

My first bike was a kawi 250, I loved it but I was a teenager and pretty light at the time. If your over 180lbs you may want to go for a 500. I personally like the smaller more agile bikes though. It's summer time to so you should definitely get a bike and soon.
