Accutane and Steroids

I've had serious issues with acne during my cycles. I normally have some acne issues but it gets really bad during a cycle. Not so much at the beginning but in the middle of my cycle when I'm upping the dosage. Has anyone or anyone you know run accutane while running a cycle. Is this safe to do? I'm due to start my cutting cycle this summer and I'm just wondering if I can run the accutane with the cycle or should I wait until afterwards.

And as far as spreading out the injections throughout the week to reduce sides, I tried that and it was actually worse for my face. So I stick to the once a week with Testosterone injections, and every other day with AAS'.

Accutane is Extremely hard on the liver, so try not to mix it with orals.

Do you get bloodwork done? Is recommended while using accutane.

I never took it on a cycle, but when i was a kid hitting puberty I had acne really bad. I took the stuff and it worked like a miracle. Really dries out your lips though. I would not think it would have any effect on your cycle, but don't quote me on that one. Their are a lot of guys here who can probably give you the thumbs up or down. Good Luck Bro

Accutane is known for skewing your lipid profile and triglycerides, as well as being a little hard on your liver.

Injectable AAS isn't hard on your liver, but some AAS will certainly contribute to altering your lipid profile.

Depending on the AAS you're using, and the accutane doseage, you could be ok or your cholesterol could be way out of wack.

also drys your skin which makes it easier to get stretch marks and drys your joints out, i learned the hard way. never will i do accutane and AAS at the same time anymore.

I strongly recommend you do not use accutane on a cycle. I started a cycle of AAS last year when I was ending my accutane prescription and I actually broke out on my back with large blisters. Worst idea of my life.... Its not worth it

Also, I've heard of guys claiming that accutane reduces their sex drive, energy levels, etc....basically saying their test levels are reduced. It definitely affects me that way.

Accutane is a retinoid and is claimed to effect rats as I mentioned above (see link). While retinoids are not hormones, they appear to modulate hormones. So, I don't know if it would be a waste to cycle while using it, or a good idea so you don't fall flat on your face. I feel like I could use a shot right now but I'm think I'm going to wait 'til I'm off the accutane.

research pantothenic acid, its vitamin b-5. seems to completely clean up bacne for most who try it. I started with a couple of grams a day and I'm working up to 5-6 grams a day and my bacne is clearing up nicely. Its safe and I've had no sides.

I've had my bloodwork done once since the end of my last cycle. My cholesterol is normal at 196 (120-250 is normal). I'm running a little more to lower it some more. My liver enzymes were high. AST GOT 71 and ALT GPT 56. his was about a month ago. I must wait till my enzymes are lower before I can think of even starting another cycle or Accutane. I'll look into the B5 though. Thanks for that advice bro
