    Unhappy expiry dates

    a question on whey protein, a friend of mine bought me a tub of optimum whey on his travels when i got it i checked the expiry date and it was out of date......way out of date, 8 months to be exact. does this stuff 'go off' and could i still use it? i would have got a refund but it is a 3 hour round trip to do this and i need to use it now

    the protein is still good, however it has probaly gotten a little chunky. and will definantly require a blendor. Did he pay full price for an expired protein.
