What's everyone's thoughts on the George Foreman Grill?
    Does anybody use one?

    Thanks.

I love em, but they are a pain in the arse to clean up. Good substitute for grilling tho, and Im on the 3rd floor so i cant have a grill, so works for me. Def about the healthiest way to cook your meat.

Use one once. After you see all the fat and grease rolling off the grill and on to the grease catcher you'll smack yourself for not using one sooner. It really made me think about all that extra fat and nastiness I put in my body for so long before I got the grill!

all i eat is chicken and fish, both work perfectly on that grill. leave the chicken in for 5 minutes and its cooked perfectly. Greatest invention ever. so simple, and thats how it should be.

As soon as you are done taking the food off put cold water over the grill. It will steam up a lot so keep your face clear from it. It will loosen up ALL the mess and you can just wipe it off. Like they do at Asian restaurants when they cook. Works perfect brotha.

Also, to Bigsexy, I use it for ALL meats.

Grilling, broiling or baking meats is all I do. Never fry.

I use the Wolf Gang Puck version. I used to use the Foreman but found this one for a good price and it seems to be made better. It also gets hotter so it sears the outside of the meat a little better. Either one are great for quick grilling.

I just had to bin mine

But that's cause all the teflon had come off, causing everything to get welded to the plate. But yeah, that got 3 years usage, damn handy to have. I will be purchasing another one asap.

    That doesn't work for me.

I've had mine for a number of years.. and tried all sorts of ways to clean it.

And it just pisses me off.

Even when it was new it was a bitch to clean.

i just leave the mess on it... then the next time i use it,which is usually the next day.... I wait 'til it gets hot, all that stuff just flakes off and i wipe it w/ a paper towel. voila, clean foreman grill.

I use the huge one, Yeh cleaning is a pain in the ass but its well worth it after I cook a weeks worth of meat.
They have special pads for the foreman grill, but hey mine was only 50$, all the time I save and clean it once a week is well worth my 50$

    Seems worth a try.

The only drawback, if any, is the cleaning up part. Other than that, seems like it could be a decent investment.

    Thanks guys.

They have the Formans now where the grilled comes off and is dishwasher friendly. If I were to buy one right now I would get that one for sure to make cleaning easier.
