Second of all, the BMR formula is a function of height, weight, age, and sex; why would using gear have anything to do with BMR? If you want to make gains in weight, size, mass, whatever, you have to out-eat your BMR. That being said, your BMR is not 4000, but at your size 4000 calories or so would probably be a good starting point for bulking. Obviously you would need to adjust this number as you put on weight during cycle.
