    22 yrs old
    5'6"
    220 lbs @ 12%bf(calipers)
    Training for 5 yrs
    3 cycles




    I was recently switched from a non stimulant ADD med to Adderall which is a stimulant. Ever since my work outs have been extremely intense, almost to the same level as when iam on a cycle. I was wondering if Adderall has any side effects on muscle building(increase or decrease in protien synthesis). Iam also putting together my next cycle and was wondering if the Adderall would have any effect on the way my body responds to the juice. If anyone has experience with this subject please share some insight. Thanks guys.

    Im not sure but i think it can cause dry joints/pain in joints. Why are you using it ?

    ya you are having such intense workouts because adderall rapidly increases your heart rate.. I am unaware of the effacts that it has on protein synthesis but I do know that it dramtically decreases appetite like other stimulants making it much harder to grow..how many mg's are you taking a day?

    just keep hydrated... i use to work with adderrall and it would cramp me up cause you dont realize your so dehydrated... besides that the heart will race...

    i've been taking 2 30mg adderalls each day.... the ONLY thing that it messes with for me is my appetite.... get some b12 injectable to help with that..... it really does suppress the appetite though... other than that adderall + juice = fine for me... Good luck!

    i just recently got prescribe ADDeral about a 3 months ago and i love it.....hahaha......i did notice that it literally kills your appitite but ive been pushing through it....but other than that...my workouts were very intense before i got on cycle too...no that im on its scary for the people in the gym...haha....but other than the appitite and crazy workouts...i havent had any problems....other than i feel like a crackhead the first 30 mins once it hits but thats a good euphoric feeling...its just great

    i would say stay away from the gym while you are on it, you will be seriously stressing out your heart lifting on stimulants. my best advice is work out then take your meds, otherwise you are a heart attack waiting to happen.

    be careful bro... that shit can grab ahold of you like crystal meth... it's great the first few months then it starts to hold you back... i od'd on it 3 times cause you kep chasing the high... i finally stopped taking it on my own, cause even after oding 3 times, taking like a months worth in a few days, my kidneys shut down and the doctor kept giving it back to me....

    from personal experience, I agree... my heart almost popped a few times barely doing anything at all...

    Please please please take this seriously, ask your doctor what happens when you take 60mg of amphetamine and start lifting heavy every day. LVH->myocardial infarction->dead.

It does make me sweat more but my HR isn't too high.... I say you should monitor your heart rate at first to see where you're at and how your body reacts...... I take a really high dose compared to most on adderall so what dose are you taking anyway?

    no he shouldn't ask you... heart rate is not the only issue... blood pressure, stroke, over heating etc... you can feel as fine as you want... most people do before they hit the floor...

    I guess that is true.... just monitor everything you can i guess.... the doctor never said i couldn't work out or lift weights..... so i'm guessing if it were a horrible thing to do they would mention 'DON'T LIFT WEIGHTS ON ADDERALL!!!' hey you could die walking across the street tomorrow morning....... BE CAREFUL!

    Thats crazy! I'm prescribed 1 20mg Adderall XR per day. That is plenty for me. I don't even take it everyday. 1 bottle of 30 pills will last me about 2 months. Only take 1 when I goto school, or if I am really tired.

    You are correct.. I failed a school drug test for amphetamines. All i was doing was taking adderall every couple days. The instructors though I was a crackhead when I failed the test untill i explained. HAHA

    Adderal is the Bomb. But I would not use it except to raise my test scores! It will make you skinny as hell. I know from expeiriance, as I have ADD and went off of it because it made me a robot and made me have no appitite=one skinny b*tch. I weighed 100lbs at the biginning of the year.

    i think you will be fine with working out on it. i played basketball for 5 years while taking it. people workout while in clen or ephedrine all the time. it did make me not want to eat though. that was awful.

    well obviously your not suppose to be taking it, people who actually need the drug get no euphporic high from the drug, that being said, when even i can get my hands on it i get it for working out at the gym cuz i can have INTENSE work outs man, what did you tell the doctor that he prescribed you adderal?

    I was put on it for my add. I take 30 mgs per day,in a time release capsule. Thanks for all the help guys. I will talk to my doc. about it. My bp gets a little high while working out on it (130/90) but returns to normal when i come off it a couple hours later. i don't seem to get the high that peopletalk about, but I have heard it is similar to coke. Probably for the best cuz I wouldn't want to run around feeling lit all day. Well it would be cool for a couple days.

    true that...it is an amphetamine....i dont go crazy with it....the only time i use it is for school work..if i need a kick in the ass to get me goin or sometimes if i just feel like it.......hahaha....but i usually wount take it for a week or so once i feel like i have taken it too much....but thanx for the heads up bro and sorry about your misshaps

    Agree. Thats bs. I actually need it and I get a high when I take it. I also generally always workout while on it. Im in school/studying so much that its generally in my system all day every day. It actually kinda sucks because Im tired as hell without it. I wish I could only take it every so often like some of you guys, but I just can't pay attention for shit without it. Plus I whoop that ass in the gym when I take it!
