Ordering online

Here's the short story. I came across this guy "Alex" online. I'm planning on ordering some things from him. Since I do not know much about paypal or western union I have a question. Why would he rather I used WU instead of paypal. He told me that if everything worked out and he trusted me we would change to paypal. Minimum order is for $800 so Im being reall hesitant is ordering since I really don't know him from a hole in the wall.

Is there anything I can do or check to make sure he's not going to rip me off?

Its close to breaking what rules? I certainly am only asking about WU and paypal which I think are ok subjects to talk about online. Basically is WU totally untraceable? I don't know how either one works..

well you are close to breaking rules. there is no source descussion at all. but to answer your question i always use WU. its safe and private. you dont even have to use your real name. good luck and i hope that you are not blowing $800.

if its under $1000 you dont have to show ID to send the money.

I dont understand why he said for the first time he wants to use WU then switch to paypal if it all works out. Can I post our email conversations or PM to someone and you tell me what you think?

yes you can send it to me if you want.. but he just has to have the name tha you sent it under. you can make up a name. all he needs is the name you sent it under and the MTN.
