TRT and Erections

Hi,
I have been on TRT for 6months now and feel 100 times better. My energy levels are great and I feel like my oldself. Im 36 years old. Problem is my erections are terrible. I take cialis or vagra but still they are nothing like they were before TRT. I was taking those tablets before TRT.
Could you pls tell me what blood tests I need to get done to give us some clues as to what needs to be done ?

what is your TRT program?

I'm no expert bro, but If I had to guess id say maybe its the ed is estrogen related...unless you are taking Adex then I'm not sure

TRT programe is 100mg Test Enanthate, HCG 250 IU on days 5 and 6, and 1/4 of an Arimidex tablet every 3 days.

Ive just had blood tests done today so will post my results in a few days when I get the results.

Its a bit frustrating because other than the erection problems I feel the best I have felt in 6 years. Im soooo much more upbeat and positive and sleep soooo much better than I did when my T was low.

maybe u need a tad more, like 150? will he bump u up? i'd get estrogen and maybe possibly dht tested, and SHBG and albumen. estrogen might be to high and/or dht might be to low. Do u take propecia or anything? good drug for hairloss, but it does play games with ur dick.

Test isn't the end all for ED. Only 10-20% of people with ED have low test. Sounds like you did have low test, but you have perhaps an unrelated problem as well.

Ive finally got my blood test results back. I have a supportive doctor so if I should get more blood tests done to workout what is not right please let me know ???

This is what I have so far

Testosterone 28.3 (Range 10 - 28)
Free Test 74.9 (Range 43-138)
Oestradiol 59 ( Range under 160)
TSH 1.64 (Range 0.3 - 4.00)
DHEAS 6.4 (Range 2.5 -13)

Blood was taken 72 hours after T shot.

My Protocol is - HCG 250iu on days 5 and 6. Testosterone 100mg per week. Arimidex 1/4 of a pill every 3 days.

those levels look unfamiliar to me, however appear to be in the upper range with the ranges u included...if you could please list the measurements as well as the numbers themselves...for example: your test is 28.3 but 28.3 what? NG/DL? There should be some measurements by all your numbers please include.
What did the doc say about the ed probs? Any game plans?

What is your weight and current activity levels? Have you done any previous cycles before?

Hi Test Cyp,
Weight is 81kg. I train 6 days per week, either boxing, running or weights. All at a high intensity.

I did 2 cycles 13years ago when I was 23. I had no idea what I was doing and didnt do a PCT.

thinking juicelee and ABoy-81 got a bead on this one. My first 4 months on test had me acting like i was 18 again. Then it fell off, way off. Bros on this site suggested arimidex to suppress the test. Willie and the poor boys are back in action. look into E2 count.

With the Adex added in, estro sides shouldn't be the issue though. Libido and erection problems can be a tough nut to crack (pun intended).

2 months in TRT. 10mg Androgel ed....boners are a real problem some days and some days I cant get it up at all. Kinda strange. Definately like grade school as far as I cant control it sometimes.

I was finishing off my vial and I took a little bit more than I am used to this week. I didn't want to waste it. This was a bad idea because my wife is out of town.

I don't even think I felt like this when I was a teenager.

I agree with JPK, just soak it in cider. Give it a couple of seconds, you'll get it

If it were me I would have a Ultra sensitive test doine for my Estadiol. Also get your DHT checked. I naver had any issues since HRT so can't help to much.

I'll add into this as well. I'm also 36 and had the same results. started out great, morning wood again all the time, very horny. now 5-6 months in no labido, lack luster erections- if at all. normally cialis always did the trick on the erection end, weather i was into it or not, i got wood. well last night nothin worked and i had taken more then enough cialis that day in preparation. frustrating. thinking of adding nolva along with my 250/wk test?

I had the same ED problems. I have been on TRT for about a year. The reason for the TRT were issues like devorce, business complications and other STRESS that killed my test levels. I went to a therapist who explained to me that ED is not all chemical related. If you get a hard on during masterbation and not with your partner, then it is not an issue with your bodies chemistry it is in your head. As stress goes down my erections went up. However, I still to this day cannot get wood on a Monday morning before work. EVER!
