It doesn't matter which days you train them on it matters how hard and smart you are training them. Of course genetics and diet come into play as well.

Post your chest and triceps routine.

well if i were to combine chest a triceps on the same day i would do flat incline and decline barbell then flat flys with dumbbells. Then for tricep i would do closegrip, tricep pushdowns, andskull crushers with dumbbells. My theory though is maybe my triceps wont grow because i wont be doing as much weight as i would be on bi tri day because of the chest exercises already exhausting them.

IMO do your biceps on back day and triceps on either shoulder or chest day.

x2. Your bi's get pretty fried with back, so you might as well finish them off. I would do tri's with shoulders if your tris and chest are lacking. Ive worked tris with chest and with bis previously; i just switched to tri's and shoulders and gave chest its own day, throwing in calves and abs and Im pretty please with the workouts so far. Its like someone else said up there, you gotta find what works for you and then give that method adequate time (at least 6 weeks) to see progress. Then switch it up again. Ive always found that as long as I keep my muscles guessing I continue to grow. Switch up order of exercises, workout split, rep schemes, rest periods, etc...

Genetics really do play a HUGE role in how different muscles will grow. For me, my biceps, chest, and shoulders grew very easily, however I had to POUND my triceps and forearms before they grew.
