Question body position for lat pulldowns

was wondering what difference you place your body at(straight up,laying back) is better. also i see guys at the gym when laying back moving their body up with the weight then back down with each rep is this bad form?

Im interested in this one as well. Cause I see both forms on veteran and novice users.

Do pull-ups instead. You'll grow faster. Keep your body straight and flare your lats as you contract.

ok so pull ups are great, but anyone have on comment on wether keeping a straight back or moving up to laying back with each rep is correct because like CEELO i have witnessed both advanced and novice people using both of these forms.
