    1st Cycle - Low Dose Test Enth and Deca

    I originally posted this in HRT, but think it might be more appropriate here.

    As part of a clinic program, I am currently on the following 10 week cycle:

    300 mg Test Enth weekly
    200 mg of Deca weekly
    armidex 3 times a week

    PCT:
    HCG and Tamoxifen

    Stats:
    39 yrs old
    5 10
    180 lbs
    lifting for 20+ years

    I was looking to get past what has become a long sticking point in my training (everything is pretty stagnant no matter how I change things up).

    Explored HRT (given I have no access to AAS), and ran across this clinic who prescribed the above.

    I am in week 4, have gained about 2 lbs, feel a bit leaner, and a bit stronger.

    Curious what the board thought of this "cycle". Is it enough to see any meaningful gains? At what week should I really notice a change?

    Diet is moderately clean. Need to add more calories (good calories), and finding it challenging...

    Any feedback is appreciated...

    not bad for first cycle for HRT from a clinic.....

    as far as the calories go....eat, eat, eat....but keep it clean

    Looks decent bro...dont know about real significant gains but you will fill out...depending on the look you want...you can raise your calories....more protein,carbs and Good fats...should give you an xtra push.

    agreed, considering its a clinic giving you 500mgs weekly....not bad at all. you will see results but decca could take as long as 6 weeks to kick in fully. the test will be kicking in at ABOUT 4 weeks. first cycle? might hit you faster

    Test E is too low... bump that to 400mg or 500mg if 'Bulkin' is what you're after.
    200 mg Deca... bump it to 400mg if the above is desired.

    Stop deca a week before you stop Test E for PCT.

    PCT looks good!

    I agree. The 200 of deca isn't gonna blow you up, but you will notice some strength and a little lean mass gain. Diet is going to be your best friend right now.

    clinic administers test in appropriate portions only

    did you see that his dosage is what his clinician prescribed....if he doesn't have more than that prescribed he shouldn't bump it up....besides....its his first go at it.....

    ... agreed! I just though he could ask to have the cycle bumped; he won't lose anything by asking right? But again, you're right... he's doing this the legit way, so I guess that's better than nothing; I'm w/you on this one.

    Wow - thanks for all of the feedback (lol).

    All good points, I definitely wish I could "bump up" the dosages.

    Funny, when I posted in HRT, I got feedback that this sounded more like a AAS cycle than HRT - which I like if true. Just learning here...

    But, bottom line, is that it sounds like I should get some gains, just not anything massive.

    It also sounds like I should start seeing / feeling something soon as I am in to week 4 here.

    I will keep posting progress...

    Yup you'll start seeing gains around 4-5 week mark. Then hit it hard for the last 5 weeks to maximize the benefits of the juice. Remember to eat right!

    I am on HRT and get excellent gains (not quite like a full cycle) with that low of dosage. Key is going to be diet and proper training. Proper diet and proper training alone should get you size so even with as little of the compounds you are using you can still get some really great results. I did

    good for a hrt program
    cut the deca 1 weeks before the test to match up pct times
    you need an AI like aromasin or proviron in pct

    how are you running that hcg?

    if you have never cycled, that is definantly enough to put on good size

    Thanks for the feedback guys. As far as the HCG running question, can't remember the amounts, but I am supposed to shoot 1ML daily for 10 days 1 week after my last test injection (not sure on the potency - would have to look when I am home)...

    Make sense?

    thats way too much imo you can take too much hcg and do more harm than good

    that is true but he said 1ml though thats usually 2000iu+
    250iu ed for 10 days is okay

    Quick update as I am now in week 5. Weird, but over the past couple of days things seem to be happening. Definitely feel "fuller", and strength is all of a sudden increasing. Very strange to all of a sudden, even when just grasping the 70 lbs dumbells, before lifting, I am thinking to myself, "this feels lighter than normal". Had to make sure I grabbed the right set...

    Have gained 5 lbs, yet still feel leaner...

    Quick Update:

    I called my Dr. and asked him about bumping up the dosages (can't hurt to ask, right?). We talked about my goals and all of that stuff, and he ended up doubling my script.

    I am now running 600 mg test enth and 400 deca weekly (injecting twice a week).

    He has me taking anastrozele M,W,F (can't remember the dose of the capsule).

    He also wants me to incorporate "300 units" of HCG 3 time a week since this is extending my cycle by about 5 weeks (15) so that I am not completely suppressed.

    Definitely no longer HRT - this sounds like a cycle. Pumped up about what the results may be. Got luck on finding this program as well.

    Thoughts are appreciated. Sound like a decent cycle?

    quick question for the board:

    Is upping this dosage a bad thing? So net will be 300 test and 200 deca weekly for the first 5 weeks, and then 600 test and 400 deca weekly for 10 weeks.

    Problems switching / bumping mid-cycle?

    Appreciate any and all feedback...

    bumping to get some feedback on the dosage change. also - on diet, according to a calculator on the diet board, it says I should be consuming around 3k calories a day to maintain (5-9, 185 lbs, 39 years old, and pretty active). Does that sound right?

    So what should I shoot for calorie wise while on this cycle, 3.5K to 4K? Feel like I am force feeding to get to 3K if eating clean. If not clean, could do it with no problem...

    Not sure what my bf% is, but hope it was/is low enough to start what I have already started. My legs are skin and bones. Been an area I have tried to build over the past few years, but to no avail. This is an area I really want to see some gains...

    Quick Update (this is a good journal for me):

    I am into week 7 now. Just got back from the gym where I worked chest and tris.

    My bench was one of my weakest points before starting this cycle. I could normally bench 185 for 6 reps when working out. Well, I have been graduallly improving here over the past couple of weeks... I put up 245 for 6 this morning!! This is great for me, and man did it feel good.

    Yesterday was cardio day. I, again, felt like I could go all day. Did 50 mins of hardcore interval training. I was working out with my wife (personal trainer and spin instructor), and she could not keep up - that has never happened...

    I am at 190 lbs now - and still feel fairly lean. Hope this continues - especially since I upped my dosage last week.

    Eating clean, but still having a hard time consuming more than 3500 calories a day. Feel like I am force feeding and that never feels good (always incredibly full...).

    Oh ya, almost forgot. My shoulder feels great (must be the Deca kicking in). Used to have some joint pain there (especially at night). It is gone...

    Quick update and advice request:

    I started this cycle on 300 test e and 200 deca a week. Did this for 5 weeks.

    Upped the dosage to 600 test e and 400 deca a week (2 shots a week). Have done this for 3 weeks now. Have enough for another 4 weeks...

    Also doing 3 shots a week of HCG to keep my system going and using Anastrozole.

    I am really just now starting to feel the benefits of the upped dosage. In the end, I will have been on this overall cycle 12 weeks (with only 7 on the upped dosage and 5 on the lower dosage).

    Should I look to extend this another 4 weeks? I feel like I am really going to get going here just towards the end...

    Comments are appreciated...

    Also, quick update on progress. Now weighing in at 195. Not sure on my body fat, but still feel a bit leaner than I started. Gym performance/results have been great.

    Quick update:

    I have about 3 weeks left. Per my previous posts, my gains have been pretty good up until now. I am now at about 200lbs, but feel like I have hit a wall over the last couple of weeks (actually since last post...).

    The strength gains have pretty much leveled out as has my muscle gains. I am trying like crazy to get enough calories, but finding it very difficult (feel like this is my problem...). I am getting around 3500 a day, and should probably be getting somewhere closer to 4000. Just hard for me to get that many clean calories. I am always feeling incredibly full (not pleasant...). Any advice here?

    In theory, if i do not gain any more weight on this cycle due to not consuming enough calories, should by body fat decrease?

    Any advice / insight is appreciated.
