Thailand availabilty, and quality of gear.

As some of you might remember im seriously considering going to thailand soon probably phuket to train muay thai.

So my questions are:

Availability of gear in thailand?

Ive heard theres some pharmacies along patong beach in phuket that provide gear no questions asked is that true?

Whats the quality of gear of there? ( I know it can differ like everywhere, so please post answers based on experiences please)

What gear is available? Please list.

I can get my gear pretty cheap as it is so i might just bring my own into thailand but what are the laws about bringing into thailand? Also if its cheaper over there i obviously would wait until i get over there. ( No price discussion allowed on the open boards so if anyone knows general prices for what i could be paying please pm me do not post on this thread as it will get locked).

Please feel free to tell me anything else i should know about thailand, such as your own experiences or friends Etc...

If you look around, you can find almost everything in Phuket. Some pharms carry nothing, some have lots. You have to check around, and if you don't see what you want, ask. I love Phuket! It may not be as cheap as Pattaya, as far as gear goes, but overall Phuket is awesome!
